ENCO is the Owner's Engineer for the construction of a mini hydropower plant on River Gee, in Liberia
In 2021, ENCO has won the tender for Owner's Engineer of 2.7 MW mini hydropower plant and associated 33KV substation in River Gee County Liberia.
The project is financed by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and ENCO will be assisting RREA (Rural and Renewable Energy Agency, Liberia) in carrying out design and with overall management and supervision of the procurement and implementation of works.
The detailed design has been successfully finalized and the construction contract has been awarded according to ENCO’s tender documents and under ENCO assistance.
Supervision of Works is now ongoing.
